Brian joined Fathom Consulting in 2016, initially as the firm’s US economist. He now leads Fathom’s energy and climate-related research and consultancy work, and in January 2021 he became a Junior Partner. Brian’s responsibilities include building datasets, models and tools, managing large projects and engaging with clients from both the public and private sector, to ensure delivery of world-class products and services. His current focus areas include aviation and the geopolitics of the energy transition. Brian is currently leading a major consultancy project on the economics of decarbonising European aviation for the European Climate Foundation. This pioneering research is being previewed at the Sustainable Skies World Summit 2025, ahead of the report launch in June 2025.
